GX Pro vinyl cutters use digital servomotors to achieve maximum accuracy and cutting speeds up to 33 inches per second. The professional-grade cutter also features a curve-smoothing function that allows precise cutting even at high speeds. The result is faster production and better looking graphics.

Materials

From two to 54 inches wide, the GX Pro series accepts a wide range of materials. It cuts vinyl, paint mask, reflective vinyls, twill, heat transfer and sandblast material.

CutStudio Software

GX Pro vinyl cutters include Roland CutStudio design software. CutStudio lets designers quickly and easily enlarge, reduce, re-position, rotate and mirror images. BMP, JPG, STX, AI, and EPS file formats are all supported.

The GX Pro series works with all professional sign making software. The latest plugins for Adobe Illustrator (Mac and PC) and Corel Draw (PC) are also included.

Cutting Printed Graphics

The GX Pro includes an optical registration system that automatically recognizes printer crop marks to create a powerful and cost-effective print and cut solution. Use your existing printer to create professional graphics and the GX Pro cutter to contour cut for vehicle wraps and even heat transfers for garments.

Loaded with powerful design features, Film Design can be used with any brand of automotive window film. It offers access to more than 2,000 different window film pattern kits that cover more than 1,000 different vehicles.

Front & Rear Media Loading

With front and rear loading, you can feed media backward for a specified page distance, then cut and feed the media forward.

Roland Reliability

Roland cutters have earned worldwide reputation for reliable performance and outstanding results. Today, like all Roland products, they come with an international ISO certification. This signals Roland’s commitment to offering top quality products backed up with first-rate customer service and a wide variety of supplies and accessories.

Over the past 17 years, Roland has sold more than a quarter million vinyl cutters worldwide. Most of them are still in production today. Modern Image of San Diego, CA still uses a Roland vinyl cutter that it purchased more than a decade ago. "It runs all day, everyday and has never needed a single repair,” said Enrico DelMar, Modern Image president. “Today, we have seven Roland’s lined up and cranking out awesome vehicle graphics."

Easy Operation

The front panel on the GX Pro includes buttons for frequently used settings such as blade force, cutting speed and origin point. It stores cutting conditions for up to eight pre-set jobs, including cutting speed, blade offset, blade force, tool movement speed during tool-up and cutting mode.
